Tridevi Chamunda Mandir is a temple and meditation center whose purpose is to foster the study and application of the Vedic, Tantric, and Hindu traditions. Its purpose is to provide a safe and sacred space for learning, fellowship, and devotion. Seekers of all ages and backgrounds are always welcome.
Though primarily a Kali temple, Tridevi Chamunda Mandir does not represent any specific teacher or denomination but supports and upholds all traditions that value the transcendental aspect of life. Our gatherings are small and friendly and each person is encouraged to participate as they like.
Tridevi Chamunda Mandir was founded by John Hollensbe Mayer (Yamajit) –a professional educator living in Denver who holds a Masters degree in Archetypal Psychology. He was called to the devotion of the Divine Mother in the form of Ma Kali in 2001, and has traveled throughout India and Nepal visiting many of her holy places, both as a pilgrim and volunteer. Yamajit is also a yoga instructor registered with Yoga Alliance (YTT 200) and a meditation teacher with 30 years experience.
